Organization Profile

Agriculture Iniitiative South Sudan (AISS) is a local community-based organization based in Narus at the St Martin Deporress Brothers. AISS aims at alleviating rural poverty, promoting and supporting agricultural activities including poultry. One of its core goals is to support the Vulnerable children, women and the Physically Challenged while ensuring that Children have access to quality education. AISS has supported 41 vulnerable boys and girls with School fees, Matresses, Uniforms, Medical fees, Books and pens, Food stuffs, Birds and Seeds for planting.

Highlights of Achievements


  • AISS has supported both boys and girls in school with Scholastic materials like Books, Pens, School Uniforms, School fees, medical bills, Seeds to start small holder school gardens, Birds to start Poultry farms at schools among others.

  • Women have been motivated in-kind with seeds for planting, food stuffs. The women have reported improved food availability at their Households.

  • Physically challenged have been supported with walking sticks for easy mobility.

  • Spiritually, there has been observed SSBC.

Who We Are

Agriculture Initiative in South Sudan is a faith-based, Non-political, Non-sectional, Philanthropic, Non-Governmental Organization registered in 2020 with the County government of Kapoeta East, Eastern Equatoria State with subsequent renewals of registration license. It’s office is located at the St. Martin Depores brothers Compound located at St. Daniel Comboni Primary School Compound in Narus, Kapoeta East, South Sudan about 15 kms kilometers away from the border of Kenya
